Consultation with householders regarding new wheelie bin services in Birmingham

Birmingham City Council are changing the way they collect rubbish and recycling across their area by adopting a wheelie bin collection service.

Birmingham CC collects about 400,000 tonnes of household rubbish each year costing around £60 million in collection and disposal charges. As in other areas across the UK, Birmingham CC will be able to reduce costs by reducing the amount of rubbish disposed of and increasing the amount recycled.
